Miami Children’s Hospital and Activ Doctors Online Bring the Value of Online Personal Health Records to Patients and their Families
Miami, FL —February 27, 2014— Miami Children’s Hospital (MCH) and Activ Doctors Online, global leaders in healthcare and technology, announced today they have entered into a multi-year agreement to provide Activ Doctors Online’s Personal Health Records to patients treated at Miami Children’s Hospital and its eight outpatient centers. As part of the agreement, Miami Children’s Hospital subspecialists will also serve as Activ Doctors Online’s Exclusive Provider of Online Second Medical Opinions for pediatric requests worldwide. The organizations have also partnered to market Miami Children’s Hospital’s Telemedicine Diagnostic System throughout Europe and Asia.
