Activ Doctors Online Joins the Cause Alongside Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Miami to Promote Health & Wellness to Families.

Activ Doctors Online (ADO) has partnered with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Miami (BBBSGM) to promote the health and wellness of inner city high school students and their families. For more than 100 years, BBBSGM has helped children realize their potential and has strengthened communities. ADO is joining the cause by assisting families with personal medical record management, e-consultations, and health-related support. ADO will host selected events with BBBSGM and will train the participating students in the use of ADO’s user-friendly healthcare management systems. Luna N. BBBSGM will provide Compact Service Coordinators that will assess and identify family needs, and provide wrap-around services to those compact families with children presenting with patterns of non-attendance. ADO will then focus on these specific students with records of high absenteeism which correlates with poor health and poor attention to health. ADO will provide support to assist the program so that all participants will be able to take full advantage of the program.
For three consecutive months, ADO will replace its Free 30 day Individual PHR Plan Trial on www.activdoctorsonline.com with a cost of $10, with 100% of its proceeds going to BBBSGM. ADO’s goal is to empower these young people and their families to live healthier lives with knowledge and by providing the necessary tools to enable them to control their Personal Health Records and to participate in their medical care. ADO will provide the participants with prompt access to the world’s top specialists for second medical opinions and the Personal Health Record (PHR) and suite of healthcare solutions will further assist the families by reducing their healthcare costs.
